With 16 years of coaching experience, Casey Quiggle will take over as the Generals volleyball coach this fall, according to a press release from Sheridan College.
“I’m excited to take the reins at Sheridan College and confident I can build a winning culture and program,” Quiggle said in the release.
He comes to Sheridan from Southwestern Community College in Iowa, where he was the head volleyball coach. Prior to this, Quiggle was the assistant coach at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota.
“I’m very excited to welcome Coach Quiggle as the new head volleyball coach,” said Athletic Director Rich Hall in the same release. “He has a vast amount of coaching and life experience that will be very valuable to our student-athletes and our athletic department.”
Quiggle earned his bachelor’s degree from Central College and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. In 2017, he also earned a Master of Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.
The Sheridan College Generals kick off the fall season with a tournament in Casper. The first home game will be against Dawson Community College at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome Sept. 5.
