Sometimes, 4th is the Best Place!
Even though we call it summer vacation, it can end up being one of the busiest times of year. So, when we’re blessed with a day off work, we should all take advantage and take the time to come together on the 4th of July. And, when it comes to celebrating the 4th, Sheridan County knows how to do it right! Our community has come together once again to create a day of fun for the entire family at the Big Horn Equestrian Center in Big Horn to celebrate our nation’s birthday.
Gates open at 4 p.m. so load up your car with friends and family and come early to get the best spot! You can bring your own picnic or take advantage of the concessions available on the grounds. The clubhouse and bar will be open to the public all evening. You can also bring frisbees, bocce balls, hackey-sacks (just leave the fireworks to the professionals!) and have fun playing games and making friends.
At 10 p.m., it’s time for the big show – the 2019 Fireworks Extravaganza, sponsored by Bruce Burns. The show is choreographed to music that can be listened to on the radio by tuning in to Z-94 FM/94.9.
The entire event is free to the public. The Big Horn Lion’s Club will be at the gate accepting donations for the Big Horn Scholarship Fund and other Lion’s Club projects.
A celebration like this wouldn’t be possible without the local difference – something that the Bank of Sheridan is proud to be part of. We love our community and helping it grow. We hope to see you on the 4th so we can celebrate our hometown, our state, and our nation together!
