Cultural Trust Fund Awards Announced
More than $290,000 was awarded to 36 projects around the Cowboy State at a recent grant review meeting of the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund (CTF) in Thermopolis.
The fund was created by the Wyoming State Legislature in 1998 to support the state’s culture and heritage through grants for innovative projects that support the Wyoming CTF mission.
The most recent grants will fund historic preservation, petroglyph preservation, museum storage equipment, and choirs and orchestra programming.
In Sheridan County, WYO Theater, Inc. was awarded $15,000 for tandem rehearsal hall studio spaces.
Any non-profit or government agency may apply for Wyoming CTF grants. All programs and activities must occur primarily within the state.
All CTF grant funds must be matched dollar for dollar.
