Banking On The Home Team
Nothing says summer like the thwack of a line drive or eating a hot dog as a batter steals second. Our area baseball teams are getting ready to take the field, and there are so many ways you can take part in the fun!
Watching the games and cheering on the players is a great way to spend the warm days and nights of spring and summer. Supporting team fundraisers is another great way to show your team spirit. And, if you’re missing your own playing days, volunteering to help with coaching or umpiring can get you back in the game!
From the Troopers to Web Wright Youth, The Bank of Sheridan supports our home teams, American Legion Baseball, and the Sheridan Recreation District. Branch President Darold Destefano gets into the game by putting on his second cap as the Vice President of the Sheridan Athletic Association, which oversees and maintains the Trooper’s home turf at Thorn-Rider Park.
“The Bank of Sheridan is proud to sponsor the Sheridan Trooper American Legion Baseball Team,” says Darold. ”We are also proud to donate to the Sheridan Recreation Department which runs Web Wright Youth baseball in Sheridan. I can’t think of a better way to support our community and have some fun doing it!”
Local is the difference and The Bank of Sheridan is invested in our community and our youth.
Join us in wishing all our area athletes a great season and cheering on the Troopers at the Home Opener Sunday, May 12, against the Laurel Dodgers.
