Anderson Speaks on Election, Upcoming Term

Incumbent Dayton Mayor Norm Anderson was re-elected last night by a vote of 217 to 162, beating challenger Dan Dowdy.
Anderson stated after the election that he appreciates his supporters and what their votes mean to him.
“I’d like to thank those that voted for me,” Anderson said. “I appreciate the vote of confidence for the next four years.”
Anderson mentioned that there were several projects in the works that he would like to continue to work on.
“We’ve got two subdivisions in the works, and I’d like to see those through, and it looks like I should be able to.”
