Lancifer’s New Album “Storm” to Debut Oct. 14
Sheridan’s own Lane Terzieff, aka the musical artist known as Lancifer, is set to release a new album in Myanmar, where he has been living for the past year.
In November of 2017, County 3 interviewed Lane and his new wife Cary soon after they had gotten married on a trampoline in Kendrick Park. Discussing his childhood, Lane said, “I think the cool thing about Sheridan, Wyoming, is that there’s nothing to do, so you have to get creative. You gotta ride, like, cardboard down grass hills.”
At the time, the Terzieffs were headed to Thailand, where his sister runs a school. Previously, Lancifer had been known to drop in to Myanmar (formerly Burma) while on world tours. After a few months working with the school in Thailand, they headed to Myanmar… and didn’t look back.
Cary, aka OhFrikk, learned turntablism from her husband, and the two are in constant collaboration with other artists in Myanmar. In March, he released a video for his song Miracle with Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, a Myanmar pop star.
Now, Thein and Terzieff have announced the release of an entirely new album titled Storm, on Oct. 14. There will be a concert/meet and greet in Yangon.
”I hope everyone goes and listens to it, when it releases,” Lancifer told Myanmar Cele Crazy, “and just dances in their underwear in their kitchen or wherever they want, and just go crazy and flail your body around like this. Just have fun!”
